About the role:

Progress 8 has consistently been well above national for the last 7 years and in 2023 was in the top 16% of all schools nationally. The Science Faculty plays a highly valued and pivotal role in the success of the school.

We are looking for a passionate, conscientious scientist to join our highly successful Science Faculty.

Take up for Triple Science at KS4 is high and Physics, Chemistry and Biology are all popular A level options.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a large, highly supportive, and forward-looking science team which is superbly supported by five technicians. Science facilities are first class and include modern, purpose-built laboratories.

The post is suitable for either an ECT or a more experienced practitioner. The successful candidate will be required to teach science up to and including GCSE. A level teaching may also be available.
