We are a pleasant semi- rural school just outside of London with good access to the capital via a mainline train service into Victoria. Unlike areas closer to the city, the local area provides more affordable house prices and rental as well as benefiting from beautiful local countryside.

Our students make excellent progress and are well behaved; this is made very clear in our Ofsted report from May 2018. We have a committed and highly appreciated staff team who are highly thought of by students and parents.

We are an academy and whilst having high expectations of our teachers and leaders we have strong progression routes for middle and senior leadership; a supportive team of staff and a low staff turnover. We work closely with our teachers to ensure that unnecessary paperwork and admin are kept to a minimum and that a healthy and productive work life balance is maintained. We have an innovative programme of action based professional development opportunities that contributes to a 2 week October half term that has been very well received by our students, parents and staff.

We respect experience and excellence in our teachers and encourage experienced staff to apply for vacancies, we remunerate this accordingly. We offer an additional pay award for staff that perform at an outstanding level as part of our appraisal review process.
