We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Inclusion) to join our passionate and hard-working pastoral team at Kettering Science Academy. You will work closely with our inclusion team and EWO: Behaviour Interventions to provide pastoral support to children across all year groups either individually or in small groups. This will involve supporting students with specific intervention needs, monitoring and improving the impact of any interventions, and supporting a positive climate for learning across the school. You will also work closely with families, and other agencies to help ensure the children you work with have the best possible chance of success.
This role provides the chance to make a significant contribution to our ambitious plan to deliver an outward looking centre of excellence which will support and contribute to the inclusion agenda, transforming the educational and life-long opportunities of all our children. We will support and provide training for the successful candidate to develop their own practice and learn new skills - we will tailor this dependent upon the successful candidate’s experience and interest.
