Head of Year 13 job summary
Your role will be:
To raise standards of student attainment and achievement within year group and to monitor and support student progress.
To be accountable for student progress in terms of Retention, Achievement, Success, APE and % AAB;
To be accountable for the maintaining of recruitment levels in the Sixth Form.
To take responsibility for the pastoral roles within the faculty such as monitoring the discipline and support system, attendance, punctuality and dress code.
To manage the UCAS process at HCACP and ensure that increased numbers of students successfully gain places at Russell Group universities.
To ensure that subject areas are using the Study Support programme appropriately and to monitor students on Study Support stage 3 for Year 13.
To develop and enhance the teaching practice of others.
To contribute to the development of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
