◊ This post-holder, reporting to the Deputy Head (Curriculum), will play an integral role in school improvement, providing inspirational and highly effective leadership. ◊ As a member of our Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in the academic and personal development of students in their final two years of Secondary Education. You will actively support the vision and values of the School, demonstrating loyalty, professionalism and high standards of integrity, confidentiality both within School and the wider community. More than anything, we are looking for a team player (with a sense of humour) who puts our students and staff at the heart of their work.

Main duties include:

To provide leadership of all aspects of the Sixth Form, including the application of the School’s polices and development priorities to secure high level outcomes for all students within the Sixth Form

To oversee all aspects of pastoral provision for students in Sixth Form working with the Form Tutors, Sixth Form Pastoral Support Worker, Safeguarding team, Deputy Head of Sixth Form.

To lead on routine absence, punctuality and discipline issues that might arise within the Sixth Form.

To monitor and evaluate the Sixth Form provision, and work with senior colleagues and Heads of Department, as appropriate, to ensure students are well motivated to achieve demanding personal goals.

To Lead the recruitment, admission and induction processes for students into the Sixth Form, including the preparation of the Sixth Form Handbooks, course guides and prospectus.
