The Meadows School is part of the Manor Hall Academy Trust, a Specialist School Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with many other Special School leaders across the West Midlands and North west. Our Local Academy Board and Trustees offer strong leadership to the academy and are committed to honest self-evaluation and continual improvement.
The Meadows School is a Generic Special School providing education to young people with a range of needs. We serve over 130 young young people from the age of 11 to 19. The School has expertise in working with students who have profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and those with more moderate learning difficulties. A significant proportion of students have speech, language and communication needs, ASC, SEMH and a variety of other complex needs.
The successful applicant will need to be able to work both strategically and operationally, have a proven record of being creative and solution focused and have the emotional intelligence and resilience to lead staff by example in what is a rewarding but challenging and dynamic environment.
