What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team of an Academy that is having a substantial impact on pupils’ lives.

To be successful, you will be an exceptional teacher with a demonstrable commitment to helping all pupils achieve their best, despite their background. With high expectations of behaviour, you will motivate pupils through high-quality teaching while successfully nurturing and inspiring them. You will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a positive learning environment for all children within the school.

You will have overall responsibility for the outcomes of the pupils in your class, ensuring the quality of teaching, attendance and behaviour within your class is of a high standard.

Your innovative approach will be informed by your ability to analyse and interpret pupil progress data, enabling pupils to make accelerated progress. This will include experience of adapting learning to meet the needs of SEND pupils and a commitment to inclusive practice. Experience of working in Year 6 with a proven impact on raising standards is desirable.

We believe in looking after the people who make a huge difference to our children, their families and the communities we serve. It’s part of our commitment to look after you.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Hundreds of global and local perks, available online 24/7

  • Cycle and car salary sacrifice scheme

  • A tech salary sacrifice scheme

  • Private healthcare at a discounted rate

  • Shopping discounts from the biggest brands, all year round

  • Saving money on everything from the supermarket shop to summer holidays

  • A free Employee Assistance Programme from Life & Progress
